Whether you’re expecting your first child or expanding your family, you may have questions during pregnancy. By enrolling in the Maternity Support Program, you’ll get telephonic support from a nurse with at least 5 years of experience in obstetrics. And you’ll work with that same nurse throughout your pregnancy — and up to 6 weeks after delivery.

Your nurse will provide assistance, guidance and answers to your health questions, and can also:

  • Guide you from preconception through the first few weeks of your baby’s life
  • Provide you with specialized support services for a high-risk pregnancy, if necessary
  • Offer educational materials for topics such as: exercise, proper nutrition, preparing for childbirth, staying healthy during pregnancy and more

We can put your mind at ease if you have any questions about benefits or claims. We can help you know what to expect in terms of costs and find resources for you and your baby. Your myHEALTH advocates and nurses are here to help with all this and more.

Call a myHEALTH nurse at 1-888-JDEERE1 (1-888-533-3731) to enroll. The program is part of your health care benefits, so there’s no additional cost to you.

Count the Kicks

Track your baby’s movements.

Count the Kicks is an evidence-based method for expectant parents to track their baby’s movement daily in the third trimester of pregnancy. Research shows a change in baby’s movement is the earliest and sometimes only indication that there might be an issue that needs to be addressed.

The free Count the Kicks app is available in over 12 languages in the iOS and Google Play app stores. Expectant parents use this app daily in the third trimester of pregnancy to get to know how long it takes their baby to get to 10 movements. When the amount of time it takes to get to 10 movements changes, we want expectant parents to speak up and contact their provider right away. Providers around the country recommend kick counting to their pregnant patients, and our campaign has helped save babies in 27 states and three countries.
